We develop, manufacture and sell system solutions for light commercial vehicles in the form of dropsides, volume box bodies, hatch bodies and service cars.

Our operations started in 1918 with the manufacture of wooden clogs in Floby. At the beginning of the 1930s, still with wood as the raw material, we commenced the production of cabs and flatbed bodies for the buses and goods vehicles of those days.

In the 1930s and 40s, operations concentrated on vehicle bodies and developed to cover everything from flatbed bodies and cabs to logging trucks and fire engines. Just as now, quality and reliability were very high and the “Floby cab” became something of a standard in the 50s and 60s.

Today, Autokaross i Floby AB is a leading supplier of bodies for light commercial vehicles in the Nordic market. We are based in Floby, which is home to our sales, administration, production and product development operations. It goes without saying that, besides assembling and servicing our products, we also sell spare parts and components from our main warehouse.

We have branches in Södertälje and Falköping. These offer sales, assembly and servicing of our product programs.

We have quality and environmental certification (ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 respectively).
